Local Employment

Lolldaiga Valley Partnership will generate many social and economic benefits for neighbouring communities, including employment opportunities in habitat restoration, conservation management and tourism.

In total, we estimate that over 200 local jobs will be created as a result of the Lolldaiga Valley Partnership.

Driving sustainable economic activity

In addition to the direct employment opportunities, Lolldaiga Valley will also catalyse significant further economic activity in the immediate local area through opportunities such as indigenous tree out-grower partnerships, sustainable wood fuel operations and small-scale organic farms.

Lolldaiga Valley’s many restoration and conservation initiatives will also help to strengthen the long-term resilience of local habitats and wildlife populations, safeguarding a resource which is essential to the local tourism industry.
